Welcome! I am so glad you are here! You have a story to tell, and I am excited to be a part of helping you tell it!
I live with my husband, Rick, and our four children in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska. Before becoming a photographer, I was a preschool teacher with an endorsement in Special Education, and before teaching, I served in the Marine Corps.
Our life is crazy, messy, and beautiful. We balance my husband's pursuit of a Doctorate in Chemistry, all of the activities that go with 3 school age boys, keeping up with our 2 year old daughter, and my passion for photography.
Because we like the idea of living in a zoo, we also have a dog, a cat, 2 geckos, and (promise not to scream) a white corn snake named Boo Hiss.
If you stop by my home for a visit, you will know you are in the right place by the muddy handprints artfully placed around the front door. Please don't worry about removing your shoes....I prefer to go barefoot, but you do risk coming across a Lego or two. I will have a cup of coffee ready for you as soon as you finish navigating through the small half-sorted mountains of recently washed laundry. Sometimes the chaos drives me crazy, but I know that it is really a blessing in disguise.
I know that all too soon the pitter patter of little feet, turns into the thumps and bangs of rambunctious play, that then turn to the shuffling of teenage footsteps, that will then fall silent as I sit here rocking, wondering when it got so quiet. In the silence, I will thank God for putting a camera in my hands so I can revisit those moments. Thank you for visiting my page, I hope I can help you to tell your story too!
